tee for the proposed New County to be formed out of
parts of Barnwell and Hampton Counties, hereby certify
:that I was one of the witnesses of the execution of the
foregoing GUARANTIES by the First National Bank of
Allendale, the Citizens Bank of Allendale and The Allen
dale Bank; that such GUARANTIES have been deliv
ered to me and are now in my possession at the Citizens
Bank of Fairfax, and are to be held by me in trust to be
delivered to the proper officials of the New County in the
event that the election therefor is carried.

mittee of the “New County Organization,” hereby certi
fy that, IN ADDITION to the sum of THIRTY-FIVE
THOUSAND, NO-100 ($35,000.00) DOLLARS GUAR
ANTEED to be raised by the banks of Allendale for the
purpose of erecting and equipping a Court Hous^and
Jail iathe town of Allendale, in the event that tfye^New
County Election” carries and Allendale is selected as the
County Seat (whidh sum of $35,000.00 is represented by
bankable, negotiable SECURITIES now deposited in
said banks,) the Executive Committee has in sight an
ADDITIONAL sum of FIFTEEN THOUSANJ>A($15,-
000.00) DOLLARS, including a Court Hpuse^Site, which
will be raised for the same purpose, but; which pressure
of time has not yet permitted to be reduced to bankable,
negotiable securities. This will make 4 total of FIFTY
THOUSAND, NO-100 ($50,000.00). DOLLARS (:wice
as much as has ever been raised for such a purpose by-
private subscription in any New County organized in
South Carolina since the Constitution of 1895), and the
work of obtaining such securities will be pressed vigor
ously until the entire sum is in the banks.
