A mass meeting of the farmeri of
Barnwell County was held in the Court
House here Saturday to dficuss the |

were elected delegates to represnt the
farmers of Barnwell County at thfe
meeting in Columbia Monday: R. M.
Hixson, T. S. Cave, N. G. W. Walker,
8. E. Moore, E. D. Peacock, J. 0. Pat
terson and John K. Snelling.
The meeting consisted of represen
tative farmers from varioi|s sections
6f Barnwell County and all seemed to
be Interested and enthusiastic. The
organisation, to be known as Barnwell
County Cotton Association, eras made
and the following executive
committee was elected: J. A. Porter,
8. E. Moors, T. W. Scott, J. 0. Patter
son, T 8. Cave. W. Z. Bryan, J. M.
