We would advise all of our customers who still have cotton
to gin, to get it in as quickly as possible. I
We will continue to gin each day in the week until further
notice, and if possible we will g : n after December, should there
lie any cotton offered. ;
We also take this opportunity of stating to our customers
that they should have no apprehension as to being able to dispose
of their cotton seed, as we will be in the seed market again just
as soon a** conditions warrant, which we hope will be shortly.

Mr. Neasom was a man of strong
Christian < harm ter. having joined the
Uaptist Church at un early age. and
ttMik an active part in church affairs
throughout hia life. He was the senior
deacon of the Willi gton Baptist
Church. He was a gtfeat believer in
Christian education and also worked
faithfully to promote the interests of
tfie public schools of his section. The
death of this good man brings to a
close a life estimable in every way.
The funeral and interment will be
held tomorrow morning at 11 o’clock
at the WUIiston Cemetery.

Washington, Nov. 2.—Senator
Smith’s office today received informa
tion that reports were going out of
New York that. the president would
immediately fix a price of ?6 cents a
pound for cotton. Ah investigation
was made and the rumor was found to
be without foundation.
