drich, the third child of the late Judge
and Mrs. Robert Aldrich of Barnwell.
Her death means quite a loss to Co
lumbia. She was always ready and
- willing tp do all in her power for pub
lic benefit, charity, welfare and patri
otic work. She was at one time pres
ident of the Daughters of the Holy
Cross of Trinity church and at the
time of her death was general chair
man of the Red Cross auxiliary made
up of members of the National League
for Woman’s service and chairman of
the Columbia auxiliary to the Door of
