the High Coat of Living, preparatory
to taking over the control of food pro
ducts to protect our people against
the money trusts. The President re
quested this investigation, and it was
passed by Congress. Within three
years three meat corporations alone
defrauded the people of over One Hun
dred and Forty-Four Million Dollars.
Byrnes voted NO on this question.
