(Rule No. 6): “The qualification*
for memberahip in any club of the
party of thi* State, and for voting at
a primary, shall be a* follow*, via:
The applicant for memberahip, or vot
er, shill be 21 year* of age, or shall
become so before the succeeding gen
eral election, and be a white Demo
crat He shall be a citisen of the
United States and of this State. No
person shall belong to any club or
vote in any primary unless he has re
sided in the State two years and in
the county six months prior to the suc
ceeding general election and in the
dub district 60 days prior to the first
primary following his offer to enroll:
Provided, That public school teachers
and ministers of the gospel in
ef a regular organised church
exempt from the provisions
