The executive Committee of the
Barnwell County Chapter of Ameri
can Red Croee held its monthly meet
ing at the Bank of Weetem Carolina
on Thureday afternoon, the 6th inat.
These monthly meeting* are a wonder
ful help to our Chapter and are grow
ing in interest. Some folk* think that
the only work attached to the Red
Cross i* to go to the Work Room, stay
a few moiAents, take out a cut gar
ment to make—oftener than not that
self same garment has to be taken to
the home* by some tired member of
the Cutting Committed— and some
time during the month the garment
is carried back in time to be shipped
to headquarters with the monthly al
lotment I feel su-e that if every

Mrs. L. F. Bonner was elected to the
position of Supervisor of Surgical
Dressings for our Chapter. We feel
that we have the right person in tha
right place. Mrs. Bonner has recent
ly taken a course in French Dressings
in New York City snd is well fitted for
this responsible position.
