that more people than ever are buy
ing and boosting the popular “baby"
bonds, as. war savings stamps have*
been termed. Here are a few sam
ples of the good work now being ^

John Sian, a high school-boy in
Spartanburg, sold War Savinga and ,
Thrift Stamps to the value of $1,-
200 up to April 5- v John Maxwell,
also of Spartanburg, followed with
sales amounting to $1,070. The
Oakland Avenue School of Spartan
burg sold $6,702.10. Altogether the
schools Spartanburg county have-
sold nearly $25,000 worth of war
savings stamps; and if the adults oT
tho county had done comparatively
as well. Spartanburg would now be
lending tlpvstate easily._j

at all I wired them yesterday that

hot to be ‘bamboozled or debauch
ed’ and am glad to see they are
standing by their arbitrator, i can
