South Carolina Grows.
Washington, February 14.—An im
portant statement was issued here to
day by the census bureau which shows
how the State of South Carolina is
growing. The population of the State
on July 1, 1915, was 1,601,745; on Jan
uary 1, 1916, it was 1,616,610, and, es
timated July 1, 1916, it will be 1,625,
475.
