Miss Ruby Armstrong had the mis
fortune to break her collar bone when
she fell from a horse one day last
week. It is understood that she will
be taken to Columbia to have an X-ray
photograph made of the injury.

Coroner W. L. Woodward died at
his home here last week, aged about
70 years. He is survived by his wife
and several children. Mr. Woodward
waa originally from Montmorenci in
Aiken County. His successor has not
yet been appointed.

day night for the Western markets,

loads of fine horses and mules, ex
pecting to buy mules weighing from

brood mares and several nice road and
