'MASTER'S SALK.
The tragedy of love is often the
greatest tragedy that comes into a
man’s life.

Men are created equal, but nature
built an additional story on some
men’s heads.
The man who thinks a dog has no
human nature had better get ac
quainted with a dog:
Never envy the mastery of other
men unless you are willing to pay the j
price of mastership.

knows the words.
A skeptic is one of those who be
lieves only what they know and whose
knowledge is limited.
There are many men who are not
strict believers in religion, nor are
they at the same time decidedly skep-

Judging from the advertisements
one sees in the magazines these days,
gold medals at the Panama Exposi
tion were as numerous as the Kaiser’s
Iron Crosses.
The question of Heaven and Hell
resolves to this: Some men expect
their reward in the next world and
believe in Heaven. Another man
takes his reward in this world and
believes there is no Hell.

writes as follows: “1 was down with
stomach trouble for five (5) years, and
would have sick headache so bad, at
limes, that I thought surely 1 would die.
I tried different treatments, but they
did not seem to do mo any good.
1-got so bad, I could not eat or sleep,
and all my friends, except one, thought 1
would die. He advised me to try
Thedford’s Black-Draught, and quit]
taking other medicines. I decided to
take his advice, although I did not have
any confidence in it.
1 have now been taking Black-Di
for three months, and it has cured me-—
haven’t had those awful sick headaches
since I began using it.
I am so thankful for what Black-
Draught has done for me.”
Thedforjl’s Black-Draught has been
found a very valuable medicine for de
rangements of the stomach and liver. It
is composed of pure, vegetable herbs,
contains no dangerous ingredients, and
acts gently, yet surely. It can be freely
used by young and old, and should be
kept in every family chest
