Mrs. J. G. Wooley went to Orange
burg last week to visit her father, who
has been ill for several weeks with
typhoid fever.
J. L. Ellis, of Allendale, was in town
on business Tuesday. His many friends
will learn with pleasure that his wife
is rapidly recovering from a recent
operation.
Col. Harry D. Calhoun had the mis
fortune to connect with an electric fan
a few nights ago, suffering several
painful cuts on fiis left arm. The fan
was uninjured in the encounter.
