Supervisor G. J. Diamond has pur chased a Ford touring car. Mr. W. P. Blume, of Elko Route No. 1, was a visitor here Monday. Mr. D. P. Lancaster, of Blackville, was a visitor here Saturday. Capt. W. H. Evans, of Snelling, was in town on business Saturday. Mr. Isaac A. Dyches, of Hilda, was a business visitor here Monday. _ All roads lead to Columbia this week, where the State Fair is in full blast. Mr. Barney Owens, of Dunbarton, motored down Tuesday on business. Mr. W. R. Darlington, Jr., motored up from Allendale Monday on business. H. F. Buist, Esq., of Blackville, was in town on professional business Mon day. Mr. W. D. Morris motored over to Augusta last week to attend the Georgia-Carolina Fair. Thos. M. Boulware, Esq., went down to Charleston Monday afternoon on professional business. Mrs. J. B.
