THURSDAY. NOVEMBER 13, 1913.
^ An Explanation
Our paper was made up this week as
an eighteen page issue, but at the
eleventh hour we received a full page
advertisement for an auction sale of
loti at Fairfax. This necessitated run
ning an extra sheet. Therefore the
pages in part one run from 1 to 10 and
part two from 11 to 20, instead of 9 to
18.
Our Fair Edition.
The People takes great pleasure in
presenting to its readers this week a
special "Fair Week Edition.” It is
modest in size as compared to some of
the editions issued by other papers in
the State, but its twenty pages of Fair
news and other good reading matter,
together with the advertisements from
the progressive merchants of this sec
tion will no doubt fusnish our readers
with several hours entertainment.
We did not fully decide to issue a
Unger paper this week until a few days
ago, and wp say with all due modesty
that considering the short length of
t;m«* allowed us and the consequent
h«rry to get to press on time, it is s
Utrly trtdltabic edition sod Is only
fenotW evidence of our intention to
five the readers of The People THE
