from a letter of the Honorable J K.
Samanngen, State Superintendent of
Fiducation, directed to me on August
13, 3913:
“In my opinion no special examina-
lion for teachers will be ordered in
January. If this fact could be called
to the attention of those who usually
postpone the procuring of certificates
until late in the school year, much an-
noyance both to them and to school of-
fieet's may be avoided.”
The examination will commence
pram»tly at the hour mentioned and
will <Aose promptly at the time named.
The questions on each branch will be
given out separately and only a certain
time will be allowed for answering
these questions. The schedule to be
followed is as follows.- Preliminary

12; Arithmetic 12:00-1:00; Dinner, 1:00-
