Misses Carrie Cave, Kathleen Cailiff and Ella Louise Molair returned from a two weeks’ stay on the Isle of Palms Saturday. Mrs. G. M. Main has returned home from Savannah after a pleasant stay of several days with her daughter, Mrs. L. M. Ayer. Peacock, will learn with regret that she is ill with typhoid fever. A trained nurse came down from Augusta Sunday after noon to care for her during her sick ness. Dr. and Mrs. Alfred Patterson, Dr. Allen Patterson, Mr. and Mrs. James M. Patterson, Mrs. Arnold Searson and Miss Isabelle Patterson, of Allendale, and Mrs. Sarah Jenkins, of Columbia, were among the out-of-town attendants at the funeral of Miss English Patterson Saturday evening.
