The Friday meeting of the Saltke-
hatchie Agricultural Club was one of
Ihe most largely attended and best en
joyed in the history of the organiza
tion. Representative citizen* from

appetltea were completely appeased by
the standard perfect barbecue dinner.
The proposition fayoring the holding
of a County Fair the coming Fall re
ceived enthusiastic endorsement and a
contribution for Ua furtherance of a
hundred dollars from the club funda
was unanimously voted.

The church was beautifully decorated
with ferns, palms and daisies Long
before the arrival of the bridal party
the many friends of the bride and

panted on the piano bv Mrs W. W
Molony, and at Its conclusion “ den-

maids were gowned in white crepe over
yellow, carrying large bouquets of
daisies and fern*. As a semi circle
was formed at the chancel Master Stan
ley Brown preceded the bride ami
groom bearing the ring in a lovely cal-
la lilv, and as they reached the chancel
the delightful strains of “Meditation”
was sweetly played while the ceremony
ws* being performed.
The bride was gowned in silk mar
quisite over white satin, beautifully
trimmed with duchess lace. Tne
bride's veil was held in place with a
bunch of orange blossoms, and she car
ried a lovely bouquet of daisies, lilies
of the valley and maiden hair fern A
diamond aunburs., a gift of the groom,
completed her exquisite costume.
After the ceremony the nridal party
and a large number of friends repaired
to fite beautiful home of the bride’s
brother. Mrs C. S. Wilson, which was
beautifully decorated with daisies and
fern*. The ladies receiving the guests
were Mrs,C. R. Buist, Mrs Herman
Brown an.I Mrs. W. C NeviD. The
bride and groom stood under a bower
nf daisies and ferns and received the
congratulations and well wishes of
their many friends.
Misses Alva Htill, Rosamond Buist
and Mortimer Kay served the guests
with a delightful'’salad course, while
Misses Evelyn Leonard and Alma Free
gracefully presided at the punch bowls.
The popularity of the bride and groom
was truthfully attested by the numer
ous and handsome presents they re
ceived, among them being a check for
$160, a gift from the bride’s father, Mr.
C. S. Wilson.
Mrs. Boland is one of Blackville’*
prettiest and most accomplished young
ladies and Mr. Boland the efficient and
affable assistant Post Master.
Mr. and Mrs. Boland left on the 8:45
train for Augusta, Hendersonville and
other points, and will return by way of
Richmond, Va.. where they will visit
relative* of the groom. On their return
they will make their home in illack-
villo.
