But we are back home tugging awav
at the old style of up hill farming with
this reminder that silk purse* are not

In conclusion will say that we never
saw a dog, cat O' house fly or heard a
cuss word during our stay.

Parkavllle School District, occupying
the Northwestern Corner of Edgefield
County and containing 4C square mile*,
decided last week, ftb to Id, to secede
from the timo honored old county to
join now Greenwood T4ie tramfer of
this slice leaves Edgefield xvitn only
6*0 sqnare miles of territory. Under
the State Constitution the area of no
old county can be reduced below
square miles. Consequently not over
!fi) square mile* can be spared from
Edgefield to Heywards, should its ad-
vocato* attempt a fourth new county
creation. 'To get enough territory the
pro-Heyward would have to enlarge
the butterfly wing* in Aiken County
or attempt to secura the sou.h w*»t
