of Me. Joaisb W. Walker, who
lives at Cove, a small station on the
RuUtbern Railway about five uiil* 1 *
from Allendale. The following is
what the correspondent says about
^fr. Walkers cotton crop:
'Mr. Walker showed me two pat
dies of cotton with a combined uie,i
of 19 acres, off of which he had
picked nearly two bales to the acre,
with the remaining remnant he eon-
fldnntly expected would make a to
tal of forty-one bales gathered from
nineteen acres I do not hesitate
to say that I share with Mr Wal
ker the confidence he expressed.
