hist. The other 16 counties iu which
election* were held voted in favor of'
prohibition, making a total of 3d that

stated that the elections in Aiken and
Richland would be eonte-ted.
The State Board of Canvassers will
meet in Columbia today to pass upon
the County return*. After it declares
the results the dispensaries in uncon
tested counties wi 11 be reopened and
continue selling, disposing of the
stocks on hand until November loth,
when xx hat is lett will be sold at auc

and Richland their dispensaries may
remain closed indefinitely—until the
courts ad.
Alter November 15th the five dis-
petnary counties will have to pay the
entire expenses of State Auditor W cat

at its next session.

It was a very sad parting as the
family had not all been together in
