GROWERS.

manufacturers throughout New Eng
land have decided on the curtailment

the probable demand for cotton goods.

defied.
’While the Alleys were at ^ theater, party, burglars
raided their home at ooo Westchester avenue, and
carried off the skirt along with other *nrlicf-‘H of
clothing, silverware and trinkets. Mrs. Alley be
lieves that the stolen skirt is at this time being worn
hy some one who is unaware of the valuhtde load it
carries. The police sent out* a description of the
