The up to date ginnery of Mr. T. J.
Ackerman at Dunbarton was burned
about 11 o’clock Thursday night, with
about 17 hales of seed cotton, owned by
different patrons.

stroying ibe insects that have goneinto
their winter quarters. °
At Aiken court last week by consent
of both parties a verdict for $4,000
damages was given in the case of the
estate of the late Adrtn t). Hill against
the Augusta and Aiken Railway.

mission for the Bank of VViii.iaton, with
a capital of $46,000. The corporators
are A. M. Kennedy, W. H. Kennedy,
