At the old homnslcsd of the late Wm.
tHcks, of cherished memory, now the
hospitable home of Mr. ami Mrs. Fur-
uiiUi H. Dicks, a family reunion, whs
participated in last Thursday, August,
22nd, Mr. L. K. Dicks and family, of
Augusta. On. were present, Mr. P. B.
Dicks ahd family, and Mr. L F. Dick*.
We are sorry tha chain wa* not com
plete, but there were some missing
links. »
With melons and fruit; pleasant
greetings and merry chatter .Jhc morn
ing soon passed away. And then came
dinner with plenty of tine barbecued
meats and a boat of good thiAgs too
numerous to mention, more than
enough to satisfy the craving* of the
inner man In a royal manner. And as
the |mrty .gathered around the same
old family table twelve feet long, they
did justice lo the oecssion, if you don’t

Just about noon a traveling photog
rapher came and wanted to step for
dinner. Of course, be was taken in,
and in the Evening the whole party
assembled in and around the front uf.
