were disposed of:
Qovan Jones, charged with arson
(hurniug of the’ Mnlnny Mouse in
BUckyllla) waa acquitted.
Jim vvillis was found guilty of car
rying a concealed weapon and senten
ced to devona thirty day* to the public
works of the county.
Hint guilty was the verdict In case of
Stephen Mlxson, charged with larceny,
of live stock.
Lewi* Moore, charged wtrfr aenault
and battery with Intent to kill, was
found not gni.ty.
Charlotte McCready. Indicted for as
sault and battery of a high and aggra
vated nature was acquitted.
Tiie grand and petit juries were dis
charged on Wednesday, Uth Inat.
On the 10th the motion for a new
triMi for 8am Bate* convicted of bur
glary was argued and refused and sen
tence of one year at hard labor passed.
Notice of appeal to Supreme Court was
given. ,
After the usual routine work of clo
sing a term the General Session* was
adjourned sine die. A brief time waa
given to civil matters, and a recess ta
ken until Tuesday, l«!th.
