II. S. HartZog preached the dedicatory

except the Lord keep the city, the
watchman waketh but. in vain.*’

The congregation was delighted with
the personal presence of ope so well
beloved, so worthy of the confidence of

After a"sumptuous open air meal
which was most heartily enjoyed by all
present a Sunday School Mas* Meeting
was held. Senators. G. Mayfield led
off In an address that did honor to his
bead as well as to hi.* heart and showed
him as able in church work a* rn pro
fessional add business life. Others fol
lowed, but this correspondent was un
able to remain until the close of all the

The lady member* of the church pre
sented a magnificent Bible, through
