Catherine Hutto, the wife of Mr. C, H.
Hutto, of Barnwell county, departed
this life "arch 8, HtUO, in the forty-
seventh year of tier age. She was the
laughter of the late Thos. and Ellen
Still, and in her twenti. tb year joined
hands in wedlock with her surviving
husband, who, with seven motherless
children mourn the loss of their dear
est loved one. ?dio was a faithful w ife,
a most devoted mother, n kind and
thoughtful neighbor, with the Good
Samaritan’* spirit, lighting up the »lck
room* of many afflicted with her be-
n : gnaiit face and beating their burdens
w ith her own hand*. Not only ha* the
guardian spirit left'a desolated tireside,
but the sick have lost a aympalhtth
and helpful friend. She was a faithful
