Throughout the civilized world
Christmas Is the time for all human
sorrow to disappear and give place to

come when the fever of war feeling
cools and the country calmly weighs

the President and his associates have

agement. They appear to have cap-
tared the cities they have visited, but
the country precincts remaiu untamed
