REACHING OUT WEST.
Messrs Thomas A Ryan, owners of
the C. «fc W. G. H. B.. have commenced
a suit in theGeorgia courts that will,
if they win. add immensely to the ,h-(s*
iiiKsa of tqeir system in this State.
They claim mat in September 1*93 they
bought, under decree of sale made by
U.S. judge Emory Speer, certain as-
setts of the On tral Railway of Geor
gia, among which was a half lease in
the ^ieorgia Railroad, between Au
gusta and Atlanta, for 99 years. They
have never been put in possession and
their lawyers have Applied to Judge
Speer for enforcement of their rights.
Much litigation will result.
The Louisville and Nashville is own
er of the other half of the lease.
