ries home and all appreciating the

some three weeks, and I tell you they
have done some good work for us on
our roads. 'I'hey look more like civili
zation. There is nothing we need more
than good road*, and If our present Su
pervisor is given a chance he will give
them to us. Since he has been with us
he has had but a small force, only four
convicts, but, sir, if you or any other
man will take the trouble to come and
look at the amount of work dons they
will sny they never taw as much done
by so few inyi in their lives.
