the success of the great Expositions of
thess latter days the Atlanta Journal
says of one of Blackville’s brightest
boys:

exposition department man was
Charle- Moloney. I select him because
lie was a star among them all. He was
general ticket agent at the World’s fair
and occupied a similar position in tiie
midwinter fair at ’Frisco, He was in
the exposition office in the Fitten
building mang months before the 18lli
of September, and no man connected
with the splendid undertaking went
through tne entire course of it with
.more faithful service rendered to the
exposition nnd with more honor nnd
credit to himself. With an accurately
balanced mind, witli a memory which
was ^airpply prodigious, and with a
keen insight into the motives of the
varied humanity with which he came
nto contact, he was soon recognized

the sheer forej of his abilities, to the
secretaryship "of the admissions and
concessions committee, perhaps the
most importan! of them all. Mr. Mo-
lony used to he a railroad man and I,
believe that Chicag* was his first ex
perience. He made a hit there and
went to San Francisco. Then he came
to Atlanta. 1 understand that he is in
Nashville now. He may be counted on
at Baltimore, or Montreal, and his con
nection in some capacity with the great
