Our farmers are about two weeks be
hind with their work. Corn is a poor
stand, cotton planting will not be gen

able to plant before that time. Tho
daily shipment of asparagus is about

paying very well if our growers could

plant in a few- years they will be able

Episcopal church on Sunday morning,

bers of the choir and indisposition of
others the volume of music was not as
great as usual, but that lack was all
forgotten in the perfection of song and
execution.

the spirit of the .Easter time and held
the closest attention of his I earers, be
ing excellently delivered.

Society, which entertained a good
morning congregation with sweetly
tendered song* and gracefully deliv
ered recitation*. The, young partici
pants secured many compliments from
