The house heretofore occupied by
Fred Nix, Jr., w as burned on last Sun*
day night. It is said to have origina
ted from the explosion of a lamp, about
b o’clock and was not entirely put out
at the time and must have gotten in the
roof. The house belonged to K. M.
Drayton of Columbia, and was Insured
to the amt. $300,00 with Mlxson and Co
of this place.
