Mr. Herman Gilreath, of Greenville,
was shot and killed a few weeka Ago by
J. Mims Sullivan, while on bit way
from hia home to an Insurance office to
pay the dues on his policy, which were
three day* past due.
The Company wa* free in law from
its obligation, but under tbe circum
stance* cleverly paid his family tbe full
amouut of five thousand dollars.
