Sunday atternoon was a stormy time
over the county. No section escaped
entirely. Distinct and separate* dis-
turbanees occur red at the same time in
different localities. Heavy rain falls
and winds are reported from'all quar
ters, but the hail storin.% were confined
to the more unfortunate neighborhoods.

North-Western part o( the county.
Just below' Barnwell the tine crops of
Messrs. Robert and Preston Morris jfnd
their neighbors were riddled, the corn
blades torn into ribbons and the cotton
stripped of iU leaves. s
But the worst fury was manifested in
Three Mile Town ship.
Mr. J. F. Breland wrote us from

p. m. on Sunday and continued for two
