tain bond conditioned for the pavmeut
of tiie sum of 4LBM and interest thereon
to said Hamilton, and to secure *:ich
payment did, on the 31 st of May, 1330,
execute and deliver to said Alexander
Hamilton his certain mortgage of thu-

And whereas the conditions and ob
ligations of said bond aud mortgage
have been broken, and tlmra is no-vdae
and unpaid thereon the sum of thirty-
two hundred and forty doliax*. with in
terest thereon from the 1st day of De
cember, 1837, at the rate of elsjht ffi)
nsr cent, per annum, and attorney’s
fee* for foreclosure aud expense* of sale.
Now, therefore, by virtue of the pow
er vested In me by and under said mort
gage, f will *ell at public auction at the
Court House step* at Barnwell, S. C ,
on aalesday in April, 1383, being the
2nd day of April,'1388, during the legal
hours for public, sales, the following
tract of land, to wit: ?
