The Investigation of the alleged political
outrages in Washington county, Texas,
was begun on Tuesday by a sub committee
of the Senate Committee on Privileges and

consists of Senators Evarts (chairman),
Teller, Spooner, Pugh and Eustis. All
were present. Several witnesses were ex

The wholesale dry goods and boot and
shoe house of Block, Oppenheimer & Co.,
