their expectations. They have built
up a large and profitable trade—pn fi
nable to their customers as well as to
themselves and, ut this curly date, have
been compelled to secure larger quar
ters to which they reim vj this week.
In the campaign of they enter
the field early as candidates for trade
uud, with a full stock of general mi-r
ebatidlse, which will be frequently re
plenished, will compete m quality
and pi Ices of ^11 lines with any mer
chants in lower Carolina. They have
no particular specialty but muko epc-
clalues of all goods, wuies and mer
chandise contained in their comprehen
sive stock. Farmers, mechanics, pro-
fe-slcnal ovd,country merchants, la

ple, can find what they want at prices
lu keeping with the great and general
decrease In ntlties throughout the
country. And while the ladles and
children who come to Blaekville with
their husbands and fathers, are trad
ing with Messrs Briggs and Buist, Mr.

gons and buggies to the lords of ere
ation. All good people will always be
welcome at their stores.
