gentlemen (actual count) pnsent In
stead of 'about fotty’ and among them
several antl-probibltlouii'ts. The
meeting did reo« ire a note from Mr.
J. A. Miller, endorsing prohibition,but
Mr. L. A. Ort-cu, denies sending a sim
ilar message.
Again this mooting claimed that pro

terests cf the town, aud that more
buildings had been erected since the
adoption of this law, than for the same
length of time previous.
