A WOMAN.
[ brom the Atlanta GontUhition.]
‘‘My name Is Mary Chapman, and I live
at the comer of Williams and Cox streets,
Atlanta. I have been a dreadful sufferer
from scrofula and running, eating scrofu
lous ulcers for six years. Have been wait
ed upon during the time by seven Atlanta
physicians, hut they failed to inire me _ I
also used various advertised remedies
without the least benefit. While Iwing
thus treated, I grew worse all the time.
Scrofulous swellings on both sides of my
neck—which became running, eating sores,
affecting my throat, mouth ami nose. The
eating sorts on my neck were a mass of
corruption almost down to the bones. My
throat became so much affected that I
oould scarcely swallow, my food lodging In
g portion of my throat. I lout my appetite
entirely, lost mv flesh, and was reduced to
00 pounds weight—being a mere skeleton
My whole system became terribly poisoned
and in a fearful condition. In this condi
tion I commenced the use of B. B. U , and
found great relief in the first bottle.
"When I had used five l>ottles my health
had so much Improved that the ulcers were
aW healed, the swelling subsided, my ap
petite returned, my skin tiecame active
my strength returned, and 1 gained 4-t
pounds of tlcsb. I am now healthy, fat
and hearty, and am able to do a* much
work aa any woman, and feel a* happy aa
a lark "
