it was forced to carry out its pres
ent newspaper campaign to protect
ita business against the charges
which the anti trust lawyers were

speeches and on the radio.
‘Charges,” says A&P, “that
would seriously damage our bus!
ness, if they were believed by the
public.”
Pointing out that many of AAP
patrons ‘‘would not want to deal
with the kind of people that the
anti-trust lawyers represent us to
be,” the ad state# that the anti
trust lawyers “have been wrong
before,” and ‘‘In this case we know
they are wrong.”
“We think,” the company states,
“that we have a right to protect
this 99-year old business which has
made it possible for millions of
American families U^pt more and
better food for theirTnoney, which
is providing high wage employ
ment for 110,000 Americans, and
which is helping millions of farm

the city of Monterrey. The return
trip was made over a different
route by way of Matamoros. In
exas the Kings Ranch, the larg
est ranch in the world, was visit
ed. The whole trip was most en
joyable and the 4,000 miles were
made without any car trouble.
