Appli cation will be made at once for a police station permit and as soon as this is receiv ed the broadcasting unit will be purchased. The broadcasting station will be located in the police head quarters and the police car will be equipped with a two-way radio set as will the crash car of the fire department and the utility trucks. It was felt that the radio equip ment will be valuable in many respects. In many cities it has aided very materially in the de tection of criminals.
