After the tremendous response
to the invitation last night when
over two hundred came up and
shook the evangelist’s hand to ask
for prayer, the evangelist said he
did not know what«to do. He said
he was due back at hi* church
this morning but that he hated to
leave Camden just at a time when
the forces at evil ' were being
routed. He left it to a vote of the
crowd present as to whether the
meeting should go on. There was
a sea of uplifted hands and it was
announced that the meetingWrould
continue.
Services will be held each night
at 7:30 o’clock.

Camden High’s Student Council

ficial” approval of the school ad
ministration, according to our
principal, C. T. Baldwin. The

We quote Mr. Baldwin in this
statement: “The faculty members
will help make a decision on some
of these, and I believe that some
of these requests will be perfectly
reasonable to grant. As long as
seniors remember that freedom
brings responsibility and that
they as leaders in our school
should take it upon themselves to
live up to the highest points of
duty in all phases of their work,
they will become a good example
to those below than and will be
worthy of the privileges request-

our senior life
Obtaining senior privileges is
only one of the Student Council’s
many projects, for now they an
endeavoring to work out a sys
tern of cutting down hall traffic
during classes. They have a sup
ply desk in the hall where stu
dents can buy paper, pencils, etc.
Soon they hope to have an or
ganized monitor system in tiu
lunchroom to help take care of
dishes and the cleaning of tables.
The Student Council members
have not been loafing this school
