Among the best known poems Funeral Services IfrSrCrbr Held Here Sunday Funeral services were held here Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Sarah Doby Kennedy Winkler, promin ent native of Camden, who died Saturday afternoon in New York City, r ; The services were held in Quaker cemetery with the Rev. A D. McAra o: Mrs. Winkler was the daughter of the late General John Doby Kennedy and Elizabeth Dunning- ham Kennedy. In 1886 she was married to Cornelius L. Winkler. She was 84 years old. Mrs.) Winkler, herself a journal ist, was the mother of John Ken- Winkler, the author of “Mor gan the Magnificent, 1 graphy of T Werpc "Steel,” the bi< Carnegie, and "A Portrait in Oil, the biography of John D. Rocke feller. She was active in club affairs in New York, particularly as a member of the Carolina Society and Southern Society. She was also prominent in the DAR and the UDC. She is survived by two daugh ters, Mrs. Sherman Woodward of Greenwich, Conn., and Mrs. Rob ert Wessman of Port Washington, N. Y.; one son, John Kennedy Winkler of New York City; one brother, Albert Edward Kennedy of Bettyneck plantation; one sis ter, Mrs. J. C.
