At a meeting of the board of directors of the Camden
and Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce held this

petitions which have
been mailed to them for their signature asking City Coun-,
cil to order an election on a proposed bond issue.
The resolution adopted by the
directors follows: |
“Whereas, a bond issue has
been proposed in Camden for the
purpose of improving our public
utilities, sewerage facilities,
streets, parks and recreational
facilities; and . *....,
“Whereas, it is necessary that
the freeholders express them-
selves as to whether they desire

secured thus far to the petitions
calling for an election on the pro
posed bond issue. It is estimated
that between 750 and 800 will be
necessary to secure the election.
