The Camden squadron of the Civil Air Patrol is ready
to roll. Cadet applications from young men and womeh
betweefci the ages of 15 and 18 will be accepted this Friday
night at 8 ;30 P. M. during the regular meeting in the oper
ations building of the Airport.

Assistants to each of these staff
officers are being appointed and
will be announced later.
Some 33 members were sworn
into the CAP last Friday night
and the staff was announced.
An extensive supply of equip
ment is expected to arrive for the
Camden squadron within a few
days, including complete office,
photographic, radio and medical
equipment A link trainer is ex
pected to be assigned to the
squadron in the very near future,
and an L-4 or L-5 plane.
The program for cadeta, which
will get under way very shortly,
will be of great interest to all
15 to 18 year old boy! and girls.
They will get a chance to learn
aviation and it's related fields
from the ground up with equip
ment of the U. S. Air Force. A
complete training program for
cadets is being set up and a well
rounded knowledge of flying is
