Twenty-five of the honor guests
intimate friends were asked to
call from 4:30 and 5:30 o’clock
and were served delirious refresh
ments from a beautiful appointed
tea table presided over by Miss
Mae Boykin.
Quantities of early roses, lark
spur and daisies were used
throughout the house and the
dining room table was covered
with a lovely Irish linen cloth
and centered with a low bowl of
pale pink roses with matching
tapers in candelabras on either
side.
Mrs. Boykin assisted her daugh
ter in entertaining. .
