Fez night as all the visiting
Nobles are invited to attend as
the guests of the local Red Fez
Club and the Jack J. Perry Shows.
The Nobles attending are to wear
their red Fez. It is expected that
with the many out of town Nobles
now in the vicinity that there will
be many temples represented from
all over the UnitedStates on the
night of March 26.

The Jack J. Perry Shows will
premier its 1949 tour with its
opening at the Fair Grounds here
in Camden on Saturday, March
26, and will continue for seven
nights. The Red Fez and the
Kiwanis Clubs who are the spon
sors are looking forward to new

wide in his,work of bringing
laughs to the kids as well to the
grown-ups, will present many new
antics this year.
The Jack J. Perry Shows will
present seven major shows, in
cluding the World’s CircUs Side
Show with some of the greatest
freaks who have just arrived in
this country. On the midway will
be found the animal circus with
monkeys, dogs ffnd trained ponies.
The fun house and among the
rides will be the Merry-Go-Round,
Ferris Wheels, Caterpillar, Whip
Tilt, Rideeo, Chailoplane, Octo
pus, and for the younger children
will be the finest kiddie land with
four rides for them.
The free attraction that will be
presented nightly will be the out
standing and thrilling Siegrist
i Troupe presenting the Aristricats
of the Trapeze. This act has just
closed the Shrine Circus in the
middle west and for four years
they have been some of the thril
lers on the Ringling Brothers Cir
cus.
According to the committees,
some of the local officials will at
tend this opening and officiate at
the ceremony. There will be band
concerts on the midway of Louie
Scott and his Harlem band. Every
one who loves the old time
minstrel show with the funny end
men and the comedians that made
them laugh, will enjoy this
minstrel show that will open on
the midway of the Jack J. Perry

Agnew, “that none of the girls
who participated in the State AA
basketball tournament will ever
forget you and all that you did
to make that tournament pos
sible. ‘ I
“Even though I came home
with no special honor, I feel hon
ored that I had the privilege of
meeting and being associated with
such a ‘swell’ group of girls.”
Mapy other letters have been
.received by Mr. Small and Supt.
J. G. Richards from officials of
the schools who participated in
the tournament. ,
Dr. S. N. Reeves, superintendent
of the Conway schools, wrote:
‘This is to express my. sincere
appreciation of the splendid bas
ketball tournament conducted in
your gymnasium. Mr. Small did
an excellent job and is to
highly complimented u^
splendid tournament w
^conducted. All our girls
as our coach had the
praise for the tournament.”
Miss Wood, the Conway coach,
wrote:
“The girls are still talking
about what a grand time they
had and how nice everything and
everybody was.. It was a great ex
perience for them. You are to be
congratulated on the fine start
you gave the AA girls to partici
pate in a state tournament. I hope
that next year more teams will
enter.”
The Chicora Eaglettes wrote:
“We would like to thank you
for making the AA tournament
possible this year and for the
courtesies extended to us during
our stay in Camden. We had a
