means that the migration period Is

“Last week was a favorable week
for the weevil to Increase,” Mr. Mc
Carley said, “a;id It is easy to find
live weevils in cotton fields now,
especially the ones that have not
been poisoned. Some .fields show
an lnfestatl<m of as high as BO per
cent. Farmers should continue
dusting when It is neceesary. Re
member that late dusting of cotton
that has young bolls will protect
these bolls until they are too large
for boll weevils to puncture.”

Afternoons will be devoted to
tours of the college farm and dem
onstrations of up to date farm and
home practices. Exhibits of latest
farm machinery and home equip
ment will be In operation through
out . the week.- The evening pro
grams will be featured by mnslc,
entertainment and addreeeea by
outstanding speakers.
Meals will be served In the col
lege dlping room, and rooms will
be assigned to visitors in the ool
lege barrsekt. The coat of meals
will be 50 cents for breakfssL 66
cents for lunch and 66 cents for
supper. A registration fee of 60
cents will be charged each person
staying in barracks. This fee vflll
be charged on a per person basis,
and will be the same whether a
person stays In barracks one night
or all four nights.
It will be necessary for. vlMtors
to bring blankets, sheets, towels,
pillows, pillow cases, soap, etc. _
