Royals blew the lid off a group of
Camden chunkers, scoring 10 runs.

Camden but was relieved by Sug

The rains came and prevented
the emcial game between the
Orangeburg and Camden teams of
the Balmetto league Wednesday
night A very large crowd, includ
ing many from Oraageburgi .had
gathered for the game andfwere
bitterly disappointed when rain
whichdiegan to fall about 8 o’clock
after having a let ^ up temporarily
continued and forded the spires
to annionnce that the game had
been called bff.
The game last night would have
been a battle for ftawt place' in
the league standings as an Orange
burg victory would have put the
Braves ahead of the ^lefh.
Cahiden fans would nave had an
opportunity to see Martin, the
Braves' new hurler, in action as he
had been' announced as the start
ing pitcher. Martin, it will be re-
calM, had firat accepted Camden
terms then reneged * and went to
Orgngeterg.
Moors was slated to do the hurl
ing for Camden.
The game will be played off
Satnrday night here.
