The formsl gowns of tha Isdlaa assisting made it one of the most festive occasslons ever to be held in Camden. • ««••• Miss Oletta Raley Becomes Bride Of Robert Neal Deese 'The home of Mrs. C .B. Pste, mother of the bride, was the scene of a lovely wedding at 6 p. m., May 1, when Miss Oletta Raley became the bride of Robert Neal Beese. Rev. C. L. Whltnoore officiated in the preeence.of the two immediate families, using ^ the double-ring ceremony. Glenn 'Jones, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer. Ivy, pink gladioli and candles to candelabra formed a lovely back ground in tha living room where the ceremony was pyformed.. Miss Bernice Pate, pianist, and Miss Lois Raley, vocallgt, rendered the wedding music. 'The bride and bridegroom eate^ ed together. Keith Joel Pate, hreth- er of the bride, and Ana RoUtos, niece of tha groom, lighted the candles, Mrs. C. B. Pate, mother of the bride, wore light blue crepe dress and a eorsaga at white carnations. During the evening the bride and groom left for their wedding trip. Their destination unknown,' and upon their return to Charlotte they are making mflr home at 1511 Cleveland Avenue. Mrs. Deese la the daughter of Mrs. C. B. Pate and the late H. A. Raley of Mt Pisgah. She was' graduated at Mt. Pisgah high school and is now employed with Hudson Hosiery Company in Char lotte. N. C. Mr. Deese is the son of Mr. and Mrs. I. B. Deese of Monroe. N. C. He was graduated from Jefferson high school and served in U. S. navy two years during World War II. He la now employed by thO; Southern Bell Telephone Company of Charlotte. N. C.» 'The only guest other than the two immediate families, was Mra. Lola Raley, mother of Ihe vocalist.
